What was your favorite part about your internship?
The time I have spent here has been amazing and it’s hard to choose my favorite part! I’d have to say I love the that I’ve learned so much about how corporate tax works and the fact that Mr. Cooper encourages its team members and interns to volunteer. It’s not a common occurrence to come across a company that sets time aside for its employees to give back to their communities.
What skills have you gained from your experience?
I love that I am getting hands-on experience in the corporate tax field. I have primarily been focused on special projects that involve sorting and organizing documents that are necessary for tax returns.
