It’s been a good summer for the Mariste Mbogo family, who recently received the keys to their new Habitat for Humanity house! Volunteers from Mr. Cooper helped build the home in West Dallas — our fifth Habitat for Humanity build so far —complete with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a backyard where the Mariste Mbogos can make family memories for years to come.
Mr. Cooper’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity not only helps our mission of keeping the dream of home ownership alive, but it also offers resources to potential Habitat homeowners through education about what it takes to own a home. All of our Mr. Cooper volunteers are thrilled to continue working with Habitat for Humanity on future builds, too.
“Our dream is to keep the dream of homeownership alive, and there’s not a better example of that than what we did here,” said Jay Bray, president and CEO of Mr. Cooper.
