Mr. Cooper Volunteers Help Teachers Prep For New School Year

Do you ever stop to think about all of the planning and preparation that goes into getting a classroom ready before the first day of school? Most people don’t, which is why volunteers from Mr. Cooper spent a recent day at William M. Anderson Elementary School in Dallas helping teachers get ready for a fresh group of students.

Each teacher was given a “First Day Starter Kit” filled with goodies to help at the start of the school year, and volunteers stuck around to help teachers organize and decorate classrooms. Everyone knows that teachers do so much for their communities — and future generations of leaders — every single day. It also happens that teachers are a great embodiment of Mr. Cooper’s “Core Values,” because they are cheerleaders for their schools, champions for their students, and challengers of convention when it comes to giving their students the very best educational opportunities they can.
