One year ago today we took a very special step on our journey to become the most customer centric company in our industry by changing our name to Mr. Cooper, and I am thrilled with the progress we’ve made as a company over the last 365 days! Our top priority is to focus on giving you, our customers, an incredible home loan experience. From the information you receive from us to the interactions we have with you on the phone and the new tools we’re developing, we are committed to providing radical service with a unified purpose to keep the dream of homeownership alive.
Over the past year, we’ve taken many steps forward to transform the customer and team member experiences. I’m especially proud to have watched our team collectively embrace our core values as Champions for our Customers, Challengers of Convention, and Cheerleaders for the Team. We’ve had some big milestones over the last year, but I know the best is yet to come.
As I look to the future, I’m excited to see Mr. Cooper changing the home loan industry with a digital-first approach and customer-centric experience. We’re working hard to give homeowners new technology, tools and information to better understand their home as an asset. We recently announced the upcoming launch of our new Mr. Cooper with Home Intelligence mobile app that will provide homeowners with valuable insight to their home and help them manage not just their mortgage but their overall financial well-being. We’re looking forward to offering this new tool to Mr. Cooper customers to help them better understand how to use their home as an asset to strengthen their personal balance sheets.
We were also excited this year to launch our new digital loan tracker, which is available to customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The tracker includes real-time information about an applicant’s mortgage application status, and easy-to-understand descriptions of documents needed to keep the process moving towards closing. The Mr. Cooper team is driven to become a digital-first company, and our new technology initiatives are being designed with both our customers’ and team members’ needs in mind to make the experience more streamlined, more informative and easier to understand.
We are truly building something great here at Mr. Cooper, and while we’ve come a long way since August 21, 2017, this is only the beginning. We look forward to continuing to improve the home loan experience every step of the way, and we’re excited to have you on this journey with us.
