Mr. Cooper Volunteers Partner With United Way To Help End Child Hunger

Did you know that 1 in 6 children in America don’t always know when or where they will get their next meal? To tackle this challenge over the summer while kids are out of school and potentially without access to food options, United Way introduced its Summer of Meals program.

In Dallas-Fort Worth, Mr. Cooper partnered with United Way to help sponsor a Summer Meals event. With the help of 150 volunteers from Mr. Cooper, TXU Energy, and the Dallas Stars Foundation, more than 400 children were served nutritious, hearty meals and had a day full of fun. From cornhole to water balloon fights, area children learned that they have a community that supports them — plus safe places to get nutritious meals all summer long.
